“great reaction tauri. haley is one the greatest, most unique vocalist of our time. postmodern jukebox (or pmj) takes current songs and completely re-imagines them vintage (1920s to 1960s) in the music itself and style of the performances that actually take you back in time. they have a variety of good vocals but haley reinhart especially with postmodern jukebox is incredible. all the other haley/pmj ones are great also: “all about the bass”, “habits”, “black hole sun”, “mad world”, “seven nations army”, “oops i did it again”, “lovefool” and the very recent “don’t speak”. i think what is so phenomenal about haley is not just her amazing silk to sandpaper voice but also her character and soul that she puts into the performances. even when she uses very little acrobatics, her pure raw soft voice is amazing like in the intro of “creep”. you see this even more in her solo platinum cover of “can’t help falling in love” for the extra gum commercial which is truly stunning and frequently described as what love sounds like here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_uNpEbt7w_o“

“Even though PMJ seems like a novelty act, they’re exceptional vocalists and musicians. Scott Bradlee is a genius with arrangements. You can literally pick any of their renditions of popular songs and actually like them better than the originals. Morgan James doing Maps or DREAM ON, Robyn Adele Anderson doing We Can’t Stop, Ariana Savalas doing I’m A Bad Guy, you can help but love what PMJ does and how they do it.”
